CAMERON HIGHLANDS

The Highlands were named after William Cameron, a British colonial government surveyor who discovered the plateau during a mapping expedition in 1885. The fame of Cameron Highlands then grew during the colonial era when British planters realised the potential of its fertile mountain slopes for growing tea, then a prized commodity. The Cameron Highlands are still home to many tea plantations, being Malaysia's largest tea-producing region. The area is also known as a major supplier of legumes and vegetables to both Malaysia and Singapore with its many farms, and is one of Malaysia's prime tourist destinations.

TAIPING/BUKIT MERAH LAKE ADVENTURE

Enjoy the scenic journey, cutting through miles of oil palm and rubber plantations and traditional Malay villages. Upon reaching the town of Taiping, visit the oldest museum in the country and take a stroll at the Taiping Lake Gardens. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant before going to the only waterpark in the country with a chairlift ride, the famous Bukit Merah Laketown Waterpark.

GUA TEMPURUNG/KUALA KANGSAR

Located in northern Perak, about nearly 2 hours of Penang is the Gua Tempurung, the biggest limestone cave in Malaysia. Explore the cave which is under a hill and forms a tunnel of wondrous and endless rock formations. See the "top of the world", the highest point in the cave. Stop for lunch, before proceeding to Kellie's Castle, a prewar ruin of Hindu, Moorish and Dutch influence. Next, we will take you to the majestic Ubudiah Mosque which was built in1917 and remains the most beautiful mosque in the country. Last stop would be the Royal Palace of Perak before we journey back to Penang.

PENANG ROUND-ISLAND TOUR

Experience Penang, from the bustling Georgetown to the quiet countryside of Balik Pulau with this exclusive drive around the island.

PENANG HILL / KEK LOK SI TEMPLE

Kek Lok Si Temple, situated on a split-levelled hilltop will amaze you with its intricate design of the pagoda, the famous Pond of Longevity (where a hundred-plus tortoises live), the magnificient statue of the Goddess of Mercy, and various souvenirs for the keen-eyed. The next destination would be a trip to the top of the Penang Hill (approx. 800m above sea level) in a funicular railway for its beauty and the bird's eye view of Penang.

CITY HERITAGE AND BOTANICAL GARDENS

Experience the historic Georgetown, with its rich mixture of the modern city and remnants of its glorious past. Look out for various intricately designed structures such as churches, temples, etc.. Visit includes the legendary Fort Cornwallis, St George's Church, the Penang Museum, Little India, Chinatown, Burmese temple, the Reclining Buddha (4th largest in the world), the Pewter factory, and the Botanical Gardens, one of Malaysia's most treasured gardens for its rich collection of flora, some not found anywhere else in the world.

SNAKE TEMPLE & BIRD PARK TOUR

Visit the Snake Temple, where hundred of venomous snakes (rendered harmless) roam the temple for an adventure like none before. Next up, take a look at exotic flora and reptiles at the Bukit Jambul's Orchid, Hibiscus & Reptiles Garden. And then take a trip on Asia's longest suspension bridge, the Penang Bridge to mainland Penang for a trip to the Penang Bird Farm for its collection of birds from all over the world. On a trip back, take a ride in the iconic Penang ferries back to the Penang Island.

WEEKEND WET & FLEA MARKET

Located at the heart of Georgetown, the Chowrasta market is the largest. busiest and most exotic wet market in Penang. Next stop, a quick stroll at the famous Lorong Kulit flea market for a bargain hunting session. You'll find almost anything, old or new, here. Lastly a quick stop at a local food factory on the way back to hotel.
